Description: Barker House is a family run bed and breakfast, situated on the Shannon Estuary in the picturesque village of Glin. We are just minutes from the Tarbert Ferry to Kilimer car ferry on the N69 route between Limerick and Tralee. Across the road from us you'll find the the local tourist office and bus stop. Your hosts William and Siobhan will be delighted to share the comforts of Barker House with you and offer you a home away from home. Our guests return time and time again.
We have offer superb accommodation consisting of three en suite bedrooms all spacious and bright and tastefully decorated with TVs in each room. Our dining room / guest lounge is spacious with a warm open fire on those cold evenings.
There are lots of attractions nearby including the beautiful and historic Glin Castle. There is some very scenic walks, lots of houses steeped in history, fishing and an excellent golf course at nearby Ballybunion. Willie and Siobhan will gladly help you with information on sightseeing around the peninsula, and provide details of local amenities and recommendations for dinner.
